- Behringer Cmd Studio 4a Deckadance Mapping Free
- Behringer Cmd Studio 4a Manual
- Behringer Cmd Studio 4a Deckadance Mapping Software
I just bought the new CMD 4a DJ controller and installed the CMD Studio 4A Asio driver + Deckadance 2 OEM (through http://visit.dj/behringer).
However Deckadance cannot be controlled with the CMD 4a device. The sound comes through the heaphone and master output (however the Phones Volume knob does nothing, sound seems always at maximum level). The other knobs, sliders, pads, ... (cue, play, pitch, ...) on the decks do not control Decakdance. So audio is OK, MIDI control does not work.
In Windows Device Manager, the driver seems correctly installed ('Behringer CMD 4a WDM'). In the Decakdance settings panel I select 'ASIO' and 'CMD Studio 4a ASIO' (the 'Test' button sends a audio signal to the CMD 4a's output)
In the 'Remote MIDI Control' section, there's no choice other possible under 'Remote Controller'. The controller is listed as 'GENERIC CONTROLLER'. If I click on the link I get the info page of the CMD Studio 4a on the ImageLine forum.
Do I have to turn on CMD Studio 4a under 'MIDI Inputs / Outputs'? (On or Off, doesn't make any difference).
(see the attachments)
Perhaps I didn't configure the software (and device?) correctly? The manual is very poor: 10 pages quickstart and nothing about the Deckadance setup).
Reboot, reinstall Deckadance, connect to another USB port, ... did not make any difference.
